  3. Dorisapp for Android

    There will be more than 15 Android phones in market before year end 2009. I think it makes more sense to have it for Android than Iphone.

    When creating a new group from the Mac OS X widget (v 10.6.6), the widget freezes :)

  5. more edit box

    Edit mode has only one line, its hard to edit long description. So could you make it with more lines, to see all the description, and expand then its more to add.

  10. auto-refresh on the web app, as on Facebook

    I think I'm not the only one who use both iPhone app and web App. When I had a task on the iPhone and keep opened the web app, I'd like to see appear my new task without refreshing the whole page.

    The color of the badge changes, depending on the todos. If the todo list is empty, it could be green, orange if more than 1...

  14. ability to export the entire task list into an excel file or other backup file (to save locally)

    This way even if the website fails to load or expires after few years maybe, the user has the option of having a backup file locally on his PC/PDA/Mobile/USB whatever... other than the sync option with google/opera and other online sources. Maybe to even have a print out option is ideal..

  15. publish estimated pricing

    I'd seriously consider switching to Doris if I had a general idea of the pricing and plan metric(s) (users, task lists, features).

    For example, if a 2-3 person team buys Basecamp but only uses it for tasks, that's $25/mo for a very basic task system -- not a good value. However, it would be a waste of effort to switch to Doris' beta if the pricing will be $20/mo.

    Publicly-disclosed, reasonable pricing for smaller plans would also put a stake in the ground that you're serious about owning this market, encouraging folks to adopt the API (and discouraging prospective competitors).

  16. Have an alternative compact view

    Doris takes up a lot of screen real estate. It would be nice to be able to toggle to a compact view that would simply be an outline or tree format.

  18. Some Formatting Issues of the Printed version of Toplist

    I love having the todolist online, but sometimes a paper gives an extra dimension.

    Now we're really getting into details but to make Doris even better, I suggest you look over the formatting for "print":

    1. We website title that is written out as a page header is trunked så the end of the tagline "getting things done..." not is shown in Swedish. You might want to shorten the title in the print version.

    2. When you print a long todo list over several pages (maybe I have to much stuff in the backlog he he), items get literary cut into halves…

  19. Make sorting consistent between iPhone and web app

    I choose Doris over the dozen other options because I can simply sort my pile of tasks before I sit down to take action. However, it's frustrating that sorting on the paid iPhone app does not transfer the web app and vice-versa.

  20. would love to be able to track my time to do a task, using a timeclock!!!

    If you would enable a stopwatch functionality I could track my projects more easily since during my day I have to stop and start alot on various things due to interuptions. I think this would add greatly to your wonderful free app!!
