prompts for overdue tasks
ask Doris to beat you up, and pester you about stuff that’s in “Today” for too long

@CMorledge thanks for your feedback! We are in fact working on a totally optional "push to Google calendar" feature. This will be buried in the "more" menu and totally optional. The benefit is it will allow users to create date/time based alerts for themselves if needed.

The fact it is not built around dates is what made me use Doris in the first place. Recording the date that a task was created/completed would be beneficial as it would help me analyse progress on lists but having to assign completion dates would turn it into a mini project management tool which many ToDo list apps have tried to do and failed.
Keeping it simple is it's selling point.

A to do app without due dates is unfathomable to me. I can't believe this isn't being requested more.

There are apps out there that are about due dates and reminders. Keep Doris neat and simple!

yeah, sorry, Doris is not date-based

If Doris had deadline dates for each task, it would know a lot more about when tasks were actually overdue. If I put a task in my 'today' that's due in a week, I don't want to be 'beaten up' about it until the day that it is due, so Doris needs to know when that is.
