@Albert, it's a good observation, I agree with you. I also have many groups recently, i.e. > 25, and simply being able to group groups by "project" would solve a lot of problems. I plan to introduce this feature into the desktop version, if it's well-received it can be ported to the mobile version.

I think that a intermediate solution to this problem could be an enhanced 'more' version. In which you can put the list of subtasks with check marks, linked with the completion status.
Becasuse, seaofclouds, too much groups i think, goes also against the tool simplicity.

subtasks seem like a departure from the simplicity of doris. for those larger tasks, why not create a new group instead?

This is an absolute necessity for me. I really love Doris, easy to use, accessible everywhere thanks to the online system and Iphone integration... The only things that avoir me to jump in is the creation of subtask. When you use it in a professionnal use, it's just undoable with just group / task notion.
