Today should always stay at the top
When I add new groups, they should go under Today

sometimes you can have many groups, and you need to put Today next to a group at the bottom of the list to make drag/drop possible. When we implement an iphone-like way of changing groups we can consider this.

You're both right. Keeping "Today" at the top should be an option available in the user prefs.
